25% Profit Donated to Charitable Causes Worldwide

Almost from the very beginning, we received many requests from our retailers asking if we could make a bracelet to support their favorite local or national charity.

It quickly became obvious to us that there is a strong desire by the people who support our initiative to contribute to a cause that is close to their hearts.

As much as we wanted to help, Chavez for Charity was created on the premise of ten colors/ten charities, and we felt we couldn’t stray from that without losing the uniqueness of our collection – but we still wanted to figure something out.

So, after many hours of brainstorming and a whole lot of coffee, we came up with a solution: The 11th Bracelet Project!

What is the 11th Project?

The 11th Project is a program designed to give our retailers the opportunity to support their favorite charity through the sale of our clear, cream, and white colored charity bracelets. As with our Signature and Kids collections, we donate 25% of our gross profit. At the end of each quarter, we write a check in our retailer’s name to their chosen charity.

Augusta Mae Boutique in Cranford, New Jersey proudly supports a local charity called The Valerie Fund. The Valerie Fund was established in 1976 in memory of nine-year-old Valerie Goldstein by her parents Ed and Sue Goldstein. It supports the healthcare needs of children with cancer and blood disorders.

Shinman Li of Gigi + Rose in San Francisco is helping to raise money and awareness for an organization called Single Parent Advocate, whose mission is to educate, equip, and empower single parents with practical assistance, emotional encouragement, and social networking to better their lives and those of their children.

Retired military veteran David Wright, owner of Charisma in Coronado, California is helping to support a cause that is close to his heart – the Wounded Warriors Project. WWP works to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members.

If you have the opportunity and are in the area, please stop by these stores to help support the causes they care so much about. Thank you.
